Ron has been a prominent figure involved with training and supporting contractors, engineers and surveyors for data preparation and 3D modeling since the late 90’s both nationally and internationally. He began surveying in the mid 60’s and became a licensed surveyor in 1975. Ron was an early implementer of new technology starting with electronic distance measurement in the late 60’s and early 70’s, also with total stations, CADD, GPS and now 3-D modeling. Ron considers it a privilege to be a contributing author with Machine Control Online.
