DALLAS, TX – August 14, 2009 - GeoShack (Dallas, TX) and Topcon Positioning Systems (Livermore, CA) have been selected as the GPS Machine Control and GPS Survey provider for T. J. Lambrecht Construction (Euless, TX) for the extension of the Texas Toll 130 Highway project extending from Austin, TX to Seguin, TX. 

The Texas Toll 130 project will extend over 40 miles and will require over 13 million yards of material to be excavated.  It is estimated that the T. J.  Lambrecht portion of the job will take about 24 months and will complete the 130 Toll Road that was started in 2003 by Lone Star Infrastructure.  Lambrecht was a joint venture partner in Lone Star Infrastructure and was responsible for the heavy earthworks on the initial phases for Toll 130.  Lambrecht will be utilizing unique Topcon technologies such as mmGPS and 3DMC² on this project.  This technology will provide guidance and automation for Caterpillar equipment such as Cat14M Motor graders and Cat D8T Dozers.
