Welcome to the mid-January 2012 edition of our eNewsletter.
World of Concrete is next week and we're excited to see all the new products. For sure stay tuned, as we'll be posting press releases and our thoughts on all the developments.
As announced in our last newsletter, we are especially excited to publish the first printed edition of Machine Control Magazine, to be released on-site at the show. It's been three years since we unveiled Machine Control Online, at a previous World of Concrete. Like most other exhibitors, we use the event as an annual benchmark to unveil our latest and greatest. Scroll down for pre-show announcements, providing a glimpse of what's in store.
If you can't make it, there's no need for concern. We'll be sending print subscription invitations to all newsletter subscribers shortly. We'll also have the digital edition, accessible through your tablet or PC.
For those on-site, we'll have copies placed in the following booths so please stop by and support our partners. More partner booths will be posted on our website soon. Drop me a line if you would like to meet up and talk shop.
• Hemisphere GPS - Booth 031354
• Leica Geosystems - Booth C5960
• Topcon - Booth C5070
• Wirtgen America - Booth C4337
In this issue, you'll find seven articles from our esteemed columnists as well as two guest authors. A special thank you to Paul F. Hahn, Marco Cecala, Chad Cooper, Ron Ciccarone, Joe Sass, Don Talend and Jeff Winke for their contributions. Look for brand new articles from these gentlemen and more in the print edition.
As always, I hope you enjoy this newsletter! Please stay tuned, visiting us often as we update the website daily. Please drop me a line if there is any subject about which you would like to see more information, I personally read every email.

Building A Road Model - 3D Machine Control by Ron Ciccarone, LS: – Well I hope everyone had a great Christmas and Happy New Year. I had a great time, did a polar bear motorcycle ride (BRRR, actually it was 60 degrees) for dinner on New Year’s Day. In the previous article we dealt with developing a road model from contours. To me, this is the least desirable unless it is a really simple ...
